Sand cast sconces lend every room understated elegance, while custom made high fire lighting lends every setting drama.
This set of sconces was designed to complement the family room of an artist in Texas. They are high fired glass with steel armature designed to look like branches and trees. The glass is roughly 24 X 18 inches while the steel makes these sconces much larger.
This is one of a set of high fired sconces made to "bookend" the large mirror behind a bar. They are roughly 24 X 16" with a simple custom made steel bar to keep them in place.
This high fire sconce was originally made as a color sample for a customer in Alaska. While these colors did not work out for his project, they did for this lovely sconce. It is roughly 18 X 9" with a custom steel armature making it slightly larger.
This sconce was made to be a companion to the smaller Spring sconce. Glass dimensions are roughly 18 X 9" with the steel making it slightly larger.
This high fire sconce is one of 2 sconces, on either side of a large bathroom mirror. There are 3 whites, 1 red and 2 blacks, as well as clear glass, giving the sconces a lot of depth. Dimensions are 12 X 9".
This is an iridized blue sconce, with the dragonfly design embossed on the glass. The image shows the sconce unilluminated so the iridization is visible. With the light on, the iridization becomes more difficult to appreciate. The use of a dimmer brings out the perfect balance of light and iridization visible in these sconces.
This sconce is a cranberry colored iridized glass with humpback whales embossed on it. Dimensions are 12 X 9".
This is an iridized cranberry colored glass sconce with the front and back sides of a brittle star and a smaller starfish embossed on it. Dimensions are 12 X 9"
This is the Dragonfly Sconce seen illuminated.
This is an iridized bronze colored glass sconce with hammerhead sharks swimming on it. Dimensions are 12 X 9".
This sconce was designed using actual fossils found in ancient sea beds. Dimensions are 15 X 9".

This Belly pendant hangs over a dining room table in Texas. Two full sheets of glass are fused together, then slumped into this large pregnant belly shape. Custom made steel armature is made for each one, and they are best shown using a dimmer switch. Dimensions are roughly 34 X 24".
This Belly was designed to hang as a sconce using the custom made steel armature to hang it. The use of a dimmer switch makes the piece glow. Glass dimensions are roughly 34 X 24" with the steel making the piece larger.
